The original Subnautica even with the jank was one of my top VR games. For instance you cannot rename a beacon in VR, you have to restart the game in non-VR mode and use a keyboard and mouse. Just being in the world of Subnautica in VR is breathtaking and very immersive. Not everything-everything though, but it's not related to the input method.
